I mentioned this in my last newsletter, but I really cannot stop dreaming up new bridal designs! I still have more in store that I have to hold off on sharing for now, but I couldn’t wait to make these florally designs available for you and your spring bridal orders. I will be decorating this whole set today for a customer, and I cannot wait to show you the designs in cookie form!
These and a few more bridal cutters have been added to the shop over the last week. Shop new designs here.
This is the first collection of Father’s Day cutters I’ve created, and they were designed in honor of my dad, who happens to be the BEST dad of all time. I’m not even being biased - he is the best. God truly blessed me, and I do not take this for granted.
We spent last weekend looking through childhood photos, and I was in my dad’s lap or arms in almost every picture. Over the years, he has never stopped being there to pick me up when I am down. He is incredibly supportive and probably my only family member who reads nearly every single newsletter I put out (hi Dad). So when he requested I create some cookie cutters inspired by tools, I got right to work. The collection is small, but it’s sentimental. It is an ode to my supportive, handyman, hard-working dad who never stopped seeing me as his little girl.

Who remembers my very first Christmas cookie presale in 2021? That one was a doozy! My dad took a week off a work and drove up from CT to help me tackle all the orders. I lived in MA at the time, and my driveway was almost impossible to find - my dad was the MVP with this makeshift sign and the random colored balloons that he used to flag down customers. When I say he was the MVP of all time, I really mean it. He is the reason I survived that week!

And I just simply love this photo from a couple weeks ago. My dad is the most benevolent, generous and easy-going person around, and it’s written all over his face - I can’t help but brag on the guy. (Side note, this photo has me thinking I should have added some grill themed cutters for Father’s Day. I will if there’s time, but if not, there’s always next year!)

The clean lines and puffy bows are hard not to love! Cori from @littlebakedmademiracles created these little works of h🤍rt. This was a last minute order that she put together in record time - and you would never know! Every detail is meticulous, and I have such a soft spot for the crosses and lamb. Stunning work, Cori!

WRAP UP
This tea set cookie photo is only a snap shot of the nearly 20 designs created for an order of 5 dozen cookies, and it was one of the most time consuming orders I had ever done.
These are from 2023, and at the time, I was still working full time as a school guidance counselor; needless to say, a few sleepless nights went into making them.
It was with this set that I realized just how ready I was to make Hartwork full time. It will be 3 years this summer since I took the leap, and your support has carried this business along. I couldn’t do this without you. I sometimes still can’t believe I get to spend all my working hours being creative, and it is an honor to share these creations with you.
All of your love on the recent bridal designs has been incredibly rewarding, and I hope you love these new spring collections just as much!
Thank you for being here, friends.
Until next time🤍
-Jessica
