I can’t begin to describe how exciting it is to finally have this cutter shop open. The happy dance I do every time your orders come in is no joke 😄 - I am literally happy dancing! And as I package up your cutters and wrap each one in tissue paper, I imagine the creations that will be made with them; and I am not sure what I get more excited about: receiving your orders or seeing your posts on social media with tags of people using the cutters. It actually feels surreal, and I couldn’t be more grateful. I am truly blessed to be able to share these designs with you.

And for those who ordered cutters back when you had to fill out an order form with a written list of requests- THANK YOU. I know it was a somewhat archaic way of going about ordering, but your support encouraged me to pursue an official line of cutters made available through an online shop. I am building this business from the ground up, and your support and encouragement is bolstering my creativity and motivation. This is a shop that is truly built by a cookier for cookiers, fueled by the support of cookiers. You’ve been here from the start, and you’re watching things all unfold. Your patience with my pace does not go unnoticed, and I so appreciate you!

FALL CLASSES

I am absolutely still soaking up all the summer days, but I booked my fall class dates way before the summer solstice and have already opened up registration! I have 2 offerings at the moment at 2 locations (and I may open a 3rd in October):

• 9/16 will be at Aquila’s Nest Vineyard in Newtown, CT

• 10/25 will be at Open Door Tea in Stratford, CT

I am doing something slightly different this time around. My 9/16 class at the Vineyard will include 3 cookies for a shorter class and a much more beginners friendly option. My 10/25 at Open Door Tea will include the standard 6 cookies and include both beginner and intermediate techniques. Both classes are fall themed, and I can’t wait to teach these designs to you!

CUSTOM COOKIES

I am fully booked for custom cookies through the end of 2025. As always- I am so grateful that you allow me to be a part of your celebrations, and I do not take this honor lightly! I may be able to squeeze in a few more orders if I am able to get ahead of schedule. I have closed the order form on my website at the moment, but I will reopen it up if my availability allows.

WRAP UP

I really can’t believe it has been 2 years since announcing that I was leaving my job as a school counselor to go full time cookies. Honestly, I feel we are just getting started. Hartwork is evolving, and I feel it is moving into a new season. I can’t shake the pep in my step as this business grows and pivots. I have so many fresh ideas in store and a ton of motivation to bring them to fruition. This business is as much mine as it is yours; I wouldn’t be confidently entering into the 3rd year of entrepreneurship without your support, and it is wonderful to be able to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries and new chapters with you. Your encouragement has fueled this business, and I am beyond grateful- thank you.
